Sexual Harassment

Sexual Harassment laws apply to virtually all employers and employment agencies and protect employees from inappropriate sexual conduct perpetrated by supervisors and other employees in the workplace.  A partial list of conduct that Sexual Harassment laws protect employees from include:

    * Unwelcome requests for dates and/or a dating relationship
    * Unwelcome requests for sexual acts or conduct
    * Threats of termination for refusing to engage in sexual conduct
    * Sexually suggestive stares and remarks or the display and/or distribution of      
       sexually suggestive objects, literature or photographs.
    * Sexually offensive jokes or commentary.
    * Sexual touching and/or sexual assaults.
